Hey, what's up people! In this article, we're going to show you two ways to shave and which can be more effective.   Shaving wet (Blade)

Within the classification of wet shaving we can find the "classic shave", which was formerly practiced in barbershops with razors, brush and soap and the "modern shave" that we currently do in our homes with multi-leaf or disposable machines combined with the Use of a gel or foam that helps in shaving. The advantage of this last method is that it is very easy to use and in a few minutes we can get a good shave. However, their parts are expensive and the duration is not as long as the blade of a classic shaving razor.   Shaving dry (Electric Razor)

This type of shaving has a great advantage and that is that we do not need to moisten our faces before shaving, or any type of shaving foam to do it. We only require a razor or electric razor (it is an electrical device composed of a handle and a head with internal blades). However, still an innovative solution. It usually leaves a worse shave than that made in wet, and as in razor blades or razors must be changed every so often. How to get the best shave   1. Choice of the type of shaving Without a doubt, the method that works best is wet shaving (with razor blades) because with it we get an optimal shave and longer duration. The steps that we will show next will be based on this technique. 2. Moisten your face with hot water If we can shower beforehand better, since the steam of the hot water will help to open the pores of the skin, which will enable a closer and closer shave. If we can not, we just need to use hot water and moisten the entire face for about 2-3 minutes and with this we get to open the pores, remove dead skin cells and dirt.   3. Apply a Gel or Foam for Shaving There are numerous gels and shaving foams in the market. Why should we use them? The foam or gel fulfill the role of protecting our skin against direct contact with the blade and lifting the facial hair so as not to irritate the skin. For this reason, we must ehcarnos in good quantity and apply it forming circles in the face. Let it act for 1 or 2 minutes before starting with the blade.

4. Let's start with shaving!

First let's review the razor blade. Normally to know if a leaf is in good condition you have to look at a kind of band of color that is located on the top of the leaf. If it is completely white or has lost most of the color, change it to another because it can not only cause a cut, irritation on the skin and a poorly adapted.

The best way to shave is to do it in the same way as the hair and we will only do it against the grain when we do not manage to remove all the hair. How do we know what is the meaning of our facial hair? You should only touch your skin and neck and if you pass your hand in a direction you notice resistance is that you are going against the grain, however, if you do not notice resistance you are going in the right direction.

To begin, slide the sheet with soft and long strokes to avoid cuts, irritations and redness. Stretch your skin in the area that you are going to shave getting the surface is more regular and therefore the most comfortable shave. Every so often clean the blade so that hairs do not accumulate to prevent a better pass.

We recommend that you pass the leaflet first through the lateral and neck areas that are the simplest, leaving the chin area and around the lips for the end. These areas to take more time with the foam or gel make the hair is softer so they help us to treat it better. For the area of the mustache stretch or roll up the lips so that the surface is smoother and you can get a better shave.

Finally, check the area under the nose, since there are usually some hairs that we do not see in the first pass, and retouch the sideburns. Watch that they are equalized between them by comparing it with the height of the ear lobes.

5. Wash your face with cold water and dry yourself with a towel or clinex When you have finished shaving, wash your face to remove the remaining foam and loose hairs that may have remained. Make sure the water is more or less cold to close the pores and relieve the skin. Then dry with a towel lightly and without pressing, especially if you have acne or you have produced some blood. Use a clinex, as this prevents you from rubbing acne to other areas, clean, and, in case of blood, avoid staining a towel.

6. Application of After Shave Lotion (AfterShave)

Especially recommended for people with more sensitive skin (although we recommend it for everyone) is the use of aftershave. This will calm the skin and leave a good smell on our face. Beware, avoid aftershave with alcohol because they can irritate us and their results are no better than those without alcohol. There are also aftershaves of aloe vera specific for people with sensitive skin.

7. Congratulations, you've already got a GOOD SHAVE!
