Hey, what's up people! The beard needs a series of cares as well as the hair and the rest of our body parts. It is part of the daily aspect of each and influences both the hairstyle and clothes in general. Also keep in mind that the skin under the beard is very delicate and needs proper hydration. That is why we must learn to take care of it and keep it in proper conditions. Show a perfect beard implies having a series of care that can not be left aside. It is imperative to dedicate time to your beard to avoid having a messy or dirty look. Keep the proper shape and length, wear a soft hair ... Follow these tricks and you will achieve your goal.  Wash the beard with specific products

Throughout the day, the beard becomes stained with remains of food, tobacco smoke ... so it should be washed daily. The first thing to know is that the hair on the beard is not like the hair on the head. It is harder and more curly, so the care it requires is not the same. Therefore, the shampoos we use for the scalp are not valid. There are specific soaps and shampoos for the beard that are less aggressive and more natural. The frequency of washing with these products should be about three times a week on alternate days, and the rest of the days just use warm water. In this way we will contribute to maintain and regenerate the natural oils that have the hair of the beard and that influence its shine and strength. After washing, dry it with a clean towel and gently so as not to ruin the hair. In case of long beards you can use a dryer at medium temperature and brush.

Hydration of the beard Hydration not only strengthens the hair but also helps to care for the skin that is underneath. You do not have to use conventional moisturizers, because they are not designed for it and what they do is dry and leave the hair rough. On sale there are specific oils or waxes made with natural products such as jojoba that moisturize and soften the hair. To apply them, we distribute a small amount of oil between our hands and apply it to the beard starting at the bottom. Little by little, we go up doing a little massage to the cheeks and go back down. The last part to retouch will always be the mustache area.

Combing the beard It is advisable to pass the comb through the beard after applying the moisturizing oil to avoid snagging or pulling. You never have to comb it wet because we run the risk of losing hair and, therefore, volume. Nor do you have to comb the beard after passing the dryer because the hair weakens. It is better to wait a few minutes until it is tempered. The comb to be used must also be special. For a short beard with soft hair you should use a comb with little thickness and space between the teeth. In the case of long and dense beards, it is better to resort to thicker combs and with more separated teeth. There are also special brushes to untangle and stretch the hair to the maximum. Bear in mind also that the plastic combs with friction generate static electricity and electrify our beard.

Trim the beard The beard can be trimmed with blades, machines or scissors. The scissors are the best option when we want to keep the beard long. To wear a beard of several days, the electric machine, and the blade is used if what we want is to show off a knob or to leave without hair some parts of our face. Do not trim your beard if it is wet because the wet hairs seem longer and once dry we can realize that maybe we have passed.

Visit to the barber More and more hairdressers offer barbershop service, something that had gone down in history but with the boom of the beard has returned to rebirth. There have even been specialized establishments where they will advise you on the beard that best suits you and how to wear it.
