Trends for this 2018

Hey, what's up people! In this post, we are going to talk about the possible trends of hair and beard cut that will dominate this 2018.

Different studies of psychoesthetics, hairdressing / barbering and personal image, point out that the fashion of leaving a long beard is coming to an end and will be discontinued in the coming months. We all agree, that the subject of personal image is marked by a fashion that is governed by a season and that the subject of haircuts advances very little in the sense that the ways of combing are rarely changed.

This year we will continue to see toupees inspired by the decade of the fifties or rockabilly style of the eighties providing extra volume to the hair that will gradually grow in length and keep the hair with a line to one side. Surely natural hair will be protagonists: those disheveled waves and those loops that allow you to be carefree of the hair and that with a simple pass with the fingertips give the male an informal and elegant appearance.

We will also continue to see many men with very short hair and shaved sides, a style emerged from the fashion for the 'retro', but the hair length will be increasing and will gain 'more strength' bangs. In male haircuts, the undercut will be consolidated: hair shaved by the sides and the central part slightly longer to apply hair gel or wax that allows to shape the hairstyle and provide a wet effect.

 All are sports hairstyles marked and we see the stars of Spanish football. The best example of undercut we see in Alderweireld, currently central defender of Tottenham. If we refer to the English hairstyle, 'backcombed', which combines the cut style cut on the sides, with the central part up and with a slightly backwards hairstyle we could be describing the look currently presented by Sergio Ramos, central defender of Real Madrid and captain of the Spanish National Team. They, the athletes and especially the soccer players, will continue to mark trends and fashions.
